Today we were going to Yosemite. We started looking at the route and we didn't think we could get there on the east side and if we did we couldn't find a campground with big enough space for us. So we decided we would go back over the Sierra Nevada mountains on Hwy. 88 because that is the way we got to Reno. So we have a rerun. We found the most wonderful RV park at the Jackson Rancheria Casino. It is one of the top 2 in California. We stopped there and tried to find a way to Yosemite. One fellow told us we could go down Hwy. 49 if we were careful and went slow but there was 1 curve that we would need both lanes to get around. Now we know all about that from our trip down Hwy. 1 and we don't want to do that again. So we finally agreed on a route and tried to find an RV park. The only thing we could find was the Mariposa Fairgrounds and they don't take reservations. So we're going to take a chance and head that way in the morning. Here are some photos of our trip.
