August 6th
Today we are heading west to Stockton, CA. We are turning south there and heading to Merced where we will head back east to Mariposa.
When we got to Stockton and headed south we started seeing lots of grapes.
They really like these Oleander bushes they use them in front of orchards and down the middle of the highways.
When we headed back east the terrain changed from farming to dry grass land. You see the two paths in the fields along the road all the fields have these for fire breaks.

We finally got to the fair grounds and found a space but they only had 30 amp electric which is OK if its not terribly hot. It was terribly hot! So we had to figure out what we could and couldn't use.
Mariposa is a cute little town. We went to the Happy Burger Diner for supper and settled in for the night.
