Las Vegas Here We Come

August 10th

Today we left Three Rivers and headed west to Hwy. 90 turned south through more of fruit, veggie and nut country then we turned east on Hwy. 58 and skirted the North edge of the Mojave Desert.

As we turned east we drove through this hugh field of windmills.

There is not a lot out here.
We go down and back up.
Just before we entered Nevada we passed this hugh solar energy farm.  All the shiny area are solar panels.
We get to Las Vegas and check into the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort.  This is a really cool place.  Our site has a full outdoor kitchen, bar, fireplace, 2 giant palapas and a huge outdoor table and chairs.  I think these people entertain a lot in the winter. We are on the south end of the strip.  We were amazed that we were exactly west of the airport.  The last time we were here we thought the airport was quite aways from the strip.  The strip as really expanded.
