Lake Tahoe ???

 

 August 4th

Today we wanted to see the Reno sign downtown and Lake Tahoe so we headed down town first.

Then we headed for Lake Tahoe.  You have to go over the mountains to get there.  So up we went!

We had to go up about 9,000 ft.  A day without a curvy road is a miracle out here.

We took this pix at an overlook.  It is a beautiful lake.

We headed down to the lake.  The traffic was terrible.  There are lots of little towns around the lake.  Can you sat chick trip!  Bruce was not thrilled so we found a road out and ended up at the Boomtown Casino for the all you can eat lobster buffet.  Pretty good.  Then we headed back to the bus.

Easy day.
