I gave Bruce the map this morning and said where to next. He looked and said Monument Valley. So we headed north to Tuba, AZ.
As we head north it seems like we are in a high desert. Lots of scrub brush. The closer we get to Tuba you start seeing more rocks. We turn north east and head for the town of Kayenta.

We kept seeing signs about elephant feet ahead. They really look like elephant feet.
We get to Kayenta and head north.
The mitten
I see this rock and I am sure someone carved it. Bruce says no. So when we go on the tour I show the guide the pix and ask him. He looks at it and says oh that's owl rock you took a pix of the wrong side. We call this side Dolly Parton Rock.
Today's wildlife? SHEEP
When Bruce said we were coming here I had to find a place to stay. There is only one place to stay.
Gouldings lodge and RV Park. Here we are heading up to the RV park.
We had no idea we were staying at such a famous place. We had lunch at the lodge and went to the museum.
