June 16 - Devils Tower

Today we did the northern loop of the Black Hills.  This included Lead which was gold mining town until 2001, Spearfish and then into Wyoming to the Devils Tower. 

It is quite imposing as you approach it on the road.  You can drive up fairly close and you can even climb it if you want.

We headed back to South Dakota and stopped at the Loud American Roadhouse in Sturgis for dinner and then back to Rafter J-Bar Ranch for the night.
